Metal-Fab G Value™ Grease Duct Brochure
Metal-Fab, Inc. has announced the introduction of their new G Value™ Factory-Built Grease Duct Systems brochure, containing details of how the new duct is designed to reduce the cost of grease duct installations, while providing an enhanced level of protection where life-Safety issues are important. The new duct is UL Listed and Classified, and the brochure contains a comprehensive list of Codes, Standards and Listings G Value meets or exceeds.
The brochure shows details of how G Value is engineered, tested and built to provide a duct that’s easy for architects and mechanical engineers to specify with confidence, and highlights the limited lifetime warranty.

Metal-Fab Introduces New Cost Saving Grease Duct
Metal-Fab, Inc. has announced the introduction of their new G Value™ Factory-Built Grease Duct Systems, designed to reduce the cost of grease duct installations, while providing an enhanced level of protection where Life-Safety issues are important. It is UL Listed and Classified, and the manufacturer reports that this new kitchen ventilation duct has been exposed to more testing criteria and received more listings than any other type of grease duct system, factory-built or site-built welded and wrapped.
G Value is engineered, tested and built to provide a duct that’s easy for architects and mechanical engineers to specify with confidence, quicker and more reliable installation for the contractor, and lower cleaning and maintenance costs than welded/wrapped carbon steel duct systems. It comes with a limited lifetime warranty. The design features of G Value duct include an integral chase, steel-encased insulation, round shape, consistent factory-built construction, stainless steel flue, and no-weld Vee-band joint assembly.
The availability of a broad line of models, in diameters 6” to 48”, makes G Value ideal as an alternative to a 1-hour or 2-hour shaft enclosure, and even applications requiring 0” clearance to combustibles.
